About Me

My name is Sarah Whitman and I am a user experience designer based out of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

I am currently a UX design student in the School of Information at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I am also getting an art & design minor from the Stamps School of Art & Design. I've grown up in Metro Detroit my whole life, but traveling around the world constantly inspires me and my work.

I am passionate about creating technology experiences that benefit all types of users and correcting informational inequities. Collaborative, empathetic environments that also value fun are where I see myself thriving.

As an artist, I have enjoyed a wide array of mediums including painting, drawing, ceramics, mixed media, photography, graphic design, video editing, and more. I have always been a girl of many interests and I still don't have a clear cut idea of where I want to go in my life. But I'm a firm believer that no one actually knows what they want to do in life, particularly at my age!

I have many interests outside of artistic passions! These include:
